About this service
Funded by the South Australian Department of Human Services [DHS] the Ready, Connected, Supported [RCS] Program, offers support to young people to assist them with education, employment & training outcomes. The RCS Program operationalises across three major components, “Ready-Connected-Supported”. The “Ready” component addresses young people’s psychosocial barriers to engaging in education & work; The “Connected” component connects young people through relationships, resources, skills and abilities to access new and existing opportunities in training, education & employment, and the “Supported” component focuses on the importance of broader community development activities for the young person.
Services are available to young people residing in the Northern (Playford/Salisbury/Tea Tree Gully/ Part of Enfield) Barossa, Light and Lower North regions of Adelaide. Young people should also present with one or more of the following criteria:
- Poor levels of engagement in education, training or employment.
- Significant barriers to participation in employment, training or education , e.g., family/domestic violence; AOD use; mental and/or physical health concerns.
- Connection to the Youth Justice system.
- Young parents (under 20 years of age and those from families with experience in out of home care or the Child Protection system).
- LGBTQIA+ young people
- Young people living with disability (who are not eligible for NDIS funding)
- Young carers
- Aboriginal youth
- Culturally & linguistically diverse youth
Eligibility
Young people residing in the Northern (Playford/Salisbury/Tea Tree Gully/ Part of Enfield) Barossa, Light and Lower North regions of Adelaide. Who also meet the above criteria.

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
