Children’s Garden

Community Programs

About this service

The children’s garden is a community program that offers an enjoyable and educational environment. Children participate in a variety of gardening activities, including planting, watering and harvesting.

Through helping to grow and care for the garden, children learn valuable skills, whilst receiving the benefits of growing fresh produce. Healthy eating habits are encouraged, as the children collect the harvested produce, which is then used in the preparation of their meals at childcare.
