NACYS will be established as an integrated hub following a major infrastructure project funded by the Commonwealth Building Early Education Fund (BEEF) and the South Australian Government. This means our centre will evolve to bring more programs and services together so our local community can access the support they need in one place.
A $16.3m partnership between the South Australian and Australian governments and the Minderoo Foundation will deliver a new integrated hub in Davoren Park, expanding access to early childhood education and care, allied health and other tailored supports.
The new facility will be constructed, owned and operated by NACYS. It will be located on vacant government land adjacent to NACYS’ existing facility and the Swallowcliffe P-6 School. As an integrated hub NACYs will offer:
- Preschool Plus - providing a quality preschool program of up to 30 hours per week for 3- and 4-year-olds to improve their learning and development outcome
- family and child health and development services (like CaFHS or allied health services)
- family support (like parenting programs, playgroups, food relief, financial counselling or employment support).
This is a big and exciting change, and we look forward to working with our local community to bring this to life.
